Rebirth was a two year collaborative project with Khadijah Abdul-Nabi, What began as a single shoot evolved into a deeply intentional visual project featuring twelve women from South Kurdistan. As a lenswoman, capturing the strength, complexity, and resilience of the female form has always been central to my practice. This project not only honoured that vision—it revealed to the world a rich, often unseen spectrum of womanhood and femininity within these borders.
